Transferring Credits
Spirit & Life Seminary is not accredited. Credits earned at Spirit & Life Seminary may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Spirit & Life Seminary.What you should know!
You should obtain confirmation that Spirit & Life Seminary will accept any credits you earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institution to which you want to transfer credits earned at Spirit & Life Seminary to determine if such institution will accept credits earned at Spirit & Life Seminary prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement with that institution.
The ability to transfer credits from Spirit & Life Seminary to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer, and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Spirit & Life Seminary if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. You are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of Spirit & Life Seminary and of any other educational institutions to which you may want to transfer credits earned at Spirit & Life Seminary before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
Transferring credits in:
- The maximum number of credits that a student may transfer to the certificate program is 33 out of the 66 credit hours required for completion of the program. Only courses passed with a grade of C or better may be transferred. The transfer of credit request must be approved by the Spirit & Life Seminary’s Academic Dean. There is no guarantee all credits will be accepted.
- The maximum number of credits that a student may transfer to the bachelor program is 87 out of the 120 credit hours required for completion of the program. Only courses passed with a grade of C or better may be transferred unless the student is being accepted based on the completed associate degree. In the event, student transfer credits from a completed associate degree, courses with a passing grade will be transferred in. The transfer of credit request must be approved by the Academic Dean of Spirit & Life Seminary. There is no guarantee that all credits will be accepted.
Transferring credits out:
- Transcripts of completed academic credit may be requested from the Spirit & Life Seminary Registrar’s Office.
- Requests must be signed by the student and submitted with the accompanied $10.00 fee for each transcript requested.
